Tesla Adds $3,000 Discount on Remaining Pre-Tariff Model 3 Inventory in Canada

In October 2025, Tesla Canada has introduced an additional $3,000 discount on its remaining pre-tariff priced Model 3 inventory, giving buyers another strong incentive to take delivery before facing higher post-tariff prices. The new offer follows last month’s limited-time promotion, when Tesla provided $5,000 off or free lifetime Supercharging to boost its Q3 sales.

Earlier this year, Tesla began labeling certain vehicles in its online inventory as “pre-tariff”, indicating that these cars were shipped to Canada before the federal government implemented a 25% import tariff on vehicles built in the United States. This retaliatory measure, responding to U.S. trade restrictions, directly impacts U.S.-built Tesla Model 3 sedans and other models in the Tesla lineup.

With this new discount, depending on the configuration, Canadian buyers can now save up to $18,000 compared to post-tariff pricing.

• According to a review by Drive Tesla Canada, demo versions of the Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive (AWD) with low mileage are now listed around $64,000 with the new discount—roughly $18,000 less than post-tariff prices.
• Brand-new Model 3 inventory vehicles are priced around $66,000 offering around $15,000 in savings compared to building the same model through Tesla’s online configurator.

• The Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) version offers smaller savings—around $5,000 to $6,000, depending on configuration and whether the car is new or a demo unit.

Tesla has not revealed how many pre-tariff Model 3 units remain available in Canada, but inventory levels appear to have dropped significantly since last month’s promotion. In some regions like Vancouver, Model 3 RWD inventory is already sold out, with only a few AWD units remaining.
